Animals and indoor plants: 2 tips to help them live in harmony!

After decorating your home with beautiful plants, have you also decided to surround yourself with the warm presence of a pet? The honeymoon phase between plants and animals runs the risk of a swift ending, as certain plants can in fact be fatal for your pets.

If you have a dog, take care that you don’t keep the following plants in your home, which are toxic to these animals: arums (often called arum lilies) and oleanders, which can be fatal for them. Keep them out of their reach or remove them entirely to eliminate all risk.

Apart from these extreme dangers, you may wish to keep your plants away from the curiosity of your cats and dogs. A few grains of naphthalene around the base of the plants should do the trick: your pet will never again stick his snout in and your flowers can finally live in peace!
